巴德爾邁因霍夫現象（The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon）是什麼？ 它是從英文翻譯而來，又被稱為頻率錯覺（frequency illusion），它是一種認知偏誤，指的是當我們學習到一個新名詞、新事物，或者是新觀點之後，突然間，我們會發現它無所不在，但其實這一切只是一種認知錯覺。 這個現象發生有兩個原因，第一個是因為我們有選擇性注意力（selective attention），我們的大腦能夠處理資訊很有限，所以當我們接觸到一個有興趣的主題或事物時，我們的潛意識就會觸發我們主動找尋更多關於這個主題相關的資訊。第二個原因則是確認偏誤（confirmation BIAS），指的是當我們相信某件事情是真的，或是我已經具有某種信念時，我們就會不自覺的尋找證據或相關的資訊，支持自己先前所建立的論點和信念。 舉個例子說明，網站常常會分享美妝、電子產品的使用心得、線上投資課程，甚至是社群軟體也有很多分享文，有些留言會提到產品的好處、優點，如：產品超好用、質感很好、好好穿、賺很多、吃這個可以瘦身等等，但這些留言是可以被操作的，當我們有需求時就會瞬間感到超心動，當我們一直搜尋某些資訊時，手機上的APP演算法就會認定我們對這些資訊感興趣，也會不斷的跳出相關的廣告，這會讓我們覺得怎麼最近都是我想要的資訊，這就是一種頻率錯覺。 ...
